Bryna is a San Francisco based accessories label that was founded in 2006 by Bryna Nicole McMills, a former stylist and consultant.Throughout her childhood, Ms. McMills demonstrated an intense dislike for stiff, fussy,
and otherwise impractical clothing.Rejecting the designer jeans of the time, she
retreated into her sketchbooks, which featured fashion-design flourishes that exist in her work to this day:deceptively simple and relaxed shapes; an unusually sophisticated sense of scale; a liberal
use of blue, purple, tan, and
brown; and a tendency to customize everything from school uniforms to
wedding dresses with accessories.
