Why we do what we do

We are devoted to providing new and emerging designers an online platform to sell their wares while creating an effortless shopping experience worth telling your friends about. What’s in a name?

We love to spark conversation and our name does just that! The name Indeeyo comes from a combination of the Thai word “un-deeyo” (meaning unique or the only one) and “indie”, a nod to the designers we love to feature.

Our inspired story

Every great story has a love plot. Ours is no different. Indeeyo’s co-founders Jasmin and Sancha were good friends in college who parted ways when Jasmin moved to New York and became a sophisticated and chic jewelry and handbag designer while Sancha stayed on the West Coast to pursue business, spending time abroad studying luxury and fashion brand marketing in Paris.

When fate reconnected the two in Southern California years later, romantic sparks flew and creative ideas weren’t far behind. Jasmin, who was doing fashion and lifestyle marketing at the time, couldn’t get over the fact that many of her designer friends were making gorgeous products but had nowhere to showcase them. Fresh from Paris with an inspired passion for style and a hat collection to make any guy swoon, Sancha was ready to channel his business knowledge into something innovative and new. They both knew that there was opportunity to create an easy, uncluttered online shopping experience to unearth fashion and lifestyle treasures. Details, details, details, then shortly after their “baby” Indeeyo was born in 2010, Jasmin and Sancha were married.
